establishing new accounts for forms and payment processing, web hosting, email, etc. We should consider the sanctity of the account
access to the administrative areas of those accounts.<br></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:100%"><br></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:100%">Presently, the only
account we have in use is the cleverdot account that owns the domain
\u201cGreenmountaindogclub.com\u201d. This account at the moment is <a href="mailto:Caulder35@aol.com" rel="noopener noreferrer noreferrer" target="_blank">Caulder35@aol.com</a>, and is the
main email account for our current president, Caulder Ripley. (This is also the account with Weebly access for our current Web Site)<br></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:100%"><br></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:100%">I propose to create
an account that is owned by the organization, separate from any
personal accounts. The account access will be shared by the
technical point of contact, treasurer, a backup contact, plus the
president or designee. If the scope of our technology management
expands we can choose to add additional roles as needed, but since
this account can impact core functions of our organization we should
not share the access indiscriminately.<br></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:100%"><br></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:100%">Let\u2019s use <a href="mailto:GreenMtnDogClub@gmail.com" rel="noopener noreferrer noreferrer" target="_blank">GreenMtnDogClub@gmail.com</a> as an example (this is one that is available). We could establish
this account, then change the email contact at cleverdot to this one.
We can then establish our accounts at CoffeeCup, PayPal, Cleverdot
hosting, and Verifone with this email address as the account access.
Since we are required to have a physical address, the present one
\u2018<span style="font-variant-ligatures:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-variant-numeric:normal;font-variant-east-asian:normal"><span style="color:rgb(51,51,51)"><span style="font-family:"Open Sans",Verdana,Tahoma,serif"><span style="font-size:13px"><span style="letter-spacing:normal"><span style="font-style:normal"><span style="font-weight:normal">1174
Mountainview Duxbury\u2019</span></span></span></span></span></span></span> is fine, as our club leadership changes over time we can update the
address to the current president\u2019s address.<br></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:100%"><br></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:100%">I suggest using an
account external to our domain in the event that there is a domain
issue. We don\u2019t want to find ourselves unrecoverable. I have no
great love for gmail, we could use any one of the available services
that offer a free account and are established and reliable.<br></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:100%"><br></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:100%">We use this account
only to access our technology accounts; it is never public facing.
Once we establish our hosting we will set up the mailboxes for all
the club responsibility accounts \u2013 these are the ones that will be
public facing.<br></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:100%"><br></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:100%">Once this is agreed,
Cheryl and I will begin setting up the accounts approved at the last
meeting.<br></p><div style="font-family:Arial"><br></div></div>-- <br>
