Can a member see who is on the list?
Yes! When we set up the "real" lists, subscribed members will receive a welcome message with information about the list and how they can manage it. This includes seeing the subscriber list as well as all archived messages. It looks like:
Welcome to the GMDC_Tech at jpivovar.net <mailto:Gm_test at jpivovar.net> mailing list!
To post to this list, send your message to:
GMDC_Tech <mailto:Gm_test at jpivovar.net>@jpivovar.net <mailto:gm_test at jpivovar.net>
General information about the mailing list is at:
http://jpivovar.net/mailman/listinfo/ <http://jpivovar.net/mailman/listinfo/gm_test_jpivovar.net>GMDC_Tech <mailto:Gm_test at jpivovar.net>_jpivovar.net <http://jpivovar.net/mailman/listinfo/gm_test_jpivovar.net>
If you ever want to unsubscribe or change your options (eg, switch to
or from digest mode, change your password, etc.), visit your
subscription page at:
http://jpivovar.net/mailman/options/ <http://jpivovar.net/mailman/options/gm_test_jpivovar.net/jp%40ftml.net>GMDC_Tech <mailto:Gm_test at jpivovar.net>_jpivovar.net/ <http://jpivovar.net/mailman/options/gm_test_jpivovar.net/jp%40ftml.net>
You can also make such adjustments via email by sending a message to:
GMDC_Tech <mailto:Gm_test at jpivovar.net>-request at jpivovar.net <mailto:Gm_test-request at jpivovar.net>
with the word `help' in the subject or body (don't include the
quotes), and you will get back a message with instructions.
You must know your password to change your options (including changing
the password, itself) or to unsubscribe without confirmation. It is:
<unknown - go to options page http://jpivovar.net/mailman/options/ <http://jpivovar.net/mailman/options/gm_test_jpivovar.net/jp%40ftml.net>GMDC_Tech <mailto:Gm_test at jpivovar.net>_jpivovar.net/ <http://jpivovar.net/mailman/options/gm_test_jpivovar.net/jp%40ftml.net> and request an email>
Normally, Mailman will remind you of your jpivovar.net mailing list
passwords once every month, although you can disable this if you
prefer. This reminder will also include instructions on how to
unsubscribe or change your account options. There is also a button on
your options page that will email your current password to you.

This account at the moment is Caulder35 at aol.com, and is the main email account for our current president, Caulder Ripley. (This is also the account with Weebly access for our current Web Site)

The account access will be shared by the technical point of contact, treasurer, a backup contact, plus the president or designee. If the scope of our technology management expands we can choose to add additional roles as needed, but since this account can impact core functions of our organization we should not share the access indiscriminately.

We can then establish our accounts at CoffeeCup, PayPal, Cleverdot hosting, and Verifone with this email address as the account access. Since we are required to have a physical address, the present one ‘1174 Mountainview Duxbury’ is fine, as our club leadership changes over time we can update the address to the current president’s address.
